i know about that, so i usually let my comms "rest" for a turn in the castle, so they were between 90% to 100% BP and it didn't work.
Does the, dead guy rule in less then 5 turns apply also inside castles?

i forgot... the "live" player, has built 2 walls onto the castle...

Maybe that's why i can't take it... i've been trying to "take" the castle has in a "normal" way... but maybe i need to take the walls first (since they were additions)...

All building are taken over when u take a castle, including walls.

I find that the comms sometimes need 2 b moved a hex or 2 before they can take over castle.

As long as there r no enemy troops inside the castle you r not gonna have a problem.

also sometimes the take over castle button can b out of view on my browser..just click on the comms stats on the right hand side and scroll down a little.

The only other thing I can think of that might stop you is if you happen to be standing on bloodspots or rubble. Then you will not be able to perform the take over function. Otherwise, if the castle is empty of the enemy...your comms are recharged...and you can see the button on your screen...it should work.

i have a problem in game 40 i took over one players castle and then a fight broke between me and him, during the war he took over one of the barracks, but eventually i took over all the castle again and eliminated that player, now when i repair that barrack which the player had taken, it says ant repair as enemy unit near by although there is no enemy unit for miles!!!!!! and also if the barrack is damaged does it have any negative points????

Are you sure there is not an enemy unit behind one of the towers? If you are getting that message and there really are no enemies in the area, it is a bug. If it keeps up, post it in Bug Reports.

The only drawback to not getting the barracks repaired is that it will be easier for any future foe to destroy it...otherwise, no effect that I am aware of.

If the castle is in a safe position, just rip down those barraks and cash in on the 1/3 of the cost of builing it.

rip down all the walls and towers as well.

u will b a rich man very very quickly

There's probably some barbarians near enough to the barracks to stop you from repairing it...
