"So you see M'Lord, there is much activity afoot regarding the one called Gutterfly and the baby Eugene," explained the wizened Wizard of Hwatta's Tower.

Lord Hwatta replied, "That crystal ball gets more clear each time I see you use it Wizard! Well done."

"Thank you, M'Lord. I do seem to be gaining power at this time of year. Probably some effect of the solstice."

*Hwatta paced back and forth looking out at the night sky for a bit*

"I want to do the right thing Wizard. We certainly don't want the innocent baby Eugene to be abused...nor do we want him to suffer separation from his parents. Hmmmm...we also don't want to force Gutter into any decisions contrary to his will...despite the acts of Sage."

"What should we do, M'Lord?" *with a wave, the Wizard extinguishes the glow of the crystal ball leaving the room in candle light*

"We shall establish this tower as neutral ground! We will observe the situation from here and watch for developments that might tip the scales. With your skills, we don't need to set up any surveillance cameras and such. Can you project that onto a widescreen?"

"Very good! M'Lord." *the wizard rubs his gnarled hands together while thinking quickly*

"We must send out word to our undecided WoL brethren and invite them to a council. We will have pizza, and beer, and shrimp, and chips and dip..."

The Wizard chimes in, "And those small weenies? Can we have those as well? And a cheese tray, and hot wings?"

*Hwatta puts his hand over his mouth and groans*

"Yes...we just have to be sure that the chickens have never been anywhere near Sageland...oh, the inhumanity!"
*Hwatta pauses for a second to compose himself and continues*
"We must gather a hearty band of warriors who can be ready to swoop in at a moments notice if things get too dangerous...or too bizarre...or too unsanitary."

*the wizard looks at Hwatta quizically considering what could be more bizarre or unsanitary that the recent events at Mog's Hideaway or the Fuschia Fortress...hmmmmm*

"Come Wizard, let's post a notice and see if we can gather a force that may yet save the day!"

"Yes, M'Lord...and I shall certainly examine the chicken wings to determine their origin and we will not order any Mognog© at all... *turning slightly purple"* ...none at all. Beer, wine, ale...perhaps some rootbeer for our younger fighters as well."

"Proceed Wizard...proceed."

*A foul stench wafts through the main room of Hwatta's Tower*

*Hwatta is revived by the Wizard who has rushed to the aid of the party-goers with smelling salts and gas masks*

Hwatta's first words, muffled only slightly by the mask, gain the full attention of his recovering guests and henchmen. "Geeez...it smells like Rog Ironfist in here...what the heck happened!!!"

The Wizard has set the crystal ball to replay mode and the entire ensemble watches the events unfold. The dastardly Rog places a stink bomb in Ty's pocket and ignites the unfortunate chain of events.

Princess, Ty, and Hanky put their heads together to plot retaliation. Princess notes, "At least our young assassin has leapt into action already." "Yes, perhaps she will be successful before we even get started on our plans", replies Ty.

--Tension runs almost as thick as the smell...revenge will not be long in coming!--

YAY! I get a mission !!!!!!!!!!!! I feel so whanted ^_^

Ghengis enters Hwatta's tower.

Ghengis: Hey hwatta I've come to join you, but I need to put this camera up in the party room so sage and the others can see what they are missing out on.

Hwatta stares at ghengis for a minute. Then says, I was about to have you thrown in the dungeon, as my wizard has shown me your whole plot with sage. But to actually tell me about the camera makes me think you really do intend to join.

Ghengis: Well if your wizard can remove those memories of sage, the duck, and the chicken I will happily join. Otherwise it will require a lot of partying to convince me to join your side. After all, if I can't get rid of these memories I would rather be drunk.

Hwatta: I'll have to think about it and talk with my wizard as well. As we are only partying right now and not making any plans, I think you can stay. You'll have to allow somebody to search you so that we can be sure you aren't carrying any other surveilence.

Ghengis: No problem POD can search me whenever she wants.

POD: {smiling and pulling on latex gloves} Hwatta we are going to need a private room for a little while. But don't worry I'll make sure he isn't hiding anything!

Hwatta: Thanks POD; if he gives you any trouble just let us know.

POD: He wont be any trouble after all I still have my whips and chains to

Hwatta, not to worry...Ghengis will be no trouble, I have done a extensive search and came up with nothing. He is clean and will be at your command when you need him.
