| Sage Posts : 1871 | Posted : Thursday, 23 June 2005 - 01:45 Make it so a battle doesn't automatically end if a player takes 3 turns over 10 minutes. I can understand if their opponent forces turns...but one of my battles just ended because the little fella wanted to think before he made any hasty moves on Big Sage. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| Sage Posts : 1871 | Posted : Friday, 24 June 2005 - 10:46 Yes. Yes there are. Last Edited : Friday, 24 June 2005 - 10:47 In timed battles the turns are about half an hour each. At an average of 15 turns the entire game would last over seven hours. However, an honerable player who is clearly losing could disband his armies and surrender. These games may last a little over five hours. That's maybe only three times as long as the average battle. This really sounds delicious! I played a timed battle with Demosthenes recently. It was 12 hour turns, just like a campaign, and it took a number of days to play out. Everything was just like a campaign except for the building stuff part. I guess I was dreaming. I don't think we should expect it either, Mog. That's why the force turn button is there. But if you WANT to allow it and NOT press the force turn button...you should be able to. Right now you don't have the option of leiniency...go over 10 minutes on three turns and you're out, regardless of how kind and understanding your opponent is. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
