CTDXXX ![]() Posts : 5519 | Posted : Tuesday, 28 June 2005 - 20:09 What Rap is politely saying, I think, is that stone is largely for towers and not much else. When it gets late game, stone prices usually mean you can just build a line right up to your opponent's home base
| iznogoud Posts : 139 | Posted : Wednesday, 29 June 2005 - 19:33 sorry CTDXXX... but i'm not following, what would be the point of building a stone tower next to my oponent's castle? does it allow me to get into it??? | |
| Offspring Posts : 133 | Posted : Thursday, 30 June 2005 - 01:52 CTD is saying that late in the game if you dont have more than 10,000 stone your doing something wrong, Late in the game stone is only used for building towers, drawbridges and walls while wood and metal is used for building troops so stone doesnt have much of a use so it is easy to build alot of towers all the way to someones castle for the extra range | |
| iznogoud Posts : 139 | Posted : Thursday, 30 June 2005 - 20:05 ah ok... but my idea for the "mobile" towers, was the one of the "assault" or siege towers... not as much as range, but more as another way to pour soldiers into the castle. | |
| Offspring Posts : 133 | Posted : Thursday, 30 June 2005 - 20:50 So you mean ladders not towers. | |
| iznogoud Posts : 139 | Posted : Friday, 1 July 2005 - 06:03 well i really meant "assault" towers, they were used a lot in medieval wars. | |
Juxtaposer ![]() Posts : 142 | Posted : Friday, 1 July 2005 - 07:07 Or how about a giant wood horse presented as a gift with armies hiding inside.
