Eh archers are basic.. almost as useless as arbs Go with ballista or marksmen (had to throw Crovax and Fan bone ) They will decimate those archers

I regard Archers about the same as I do mosquitos...

If you have your hands full, they can be extremely annoying.

But once you have a chance to really draw a bead on them...

If an early rush guy attacks you with just basic troops and nothing to outrange your archers, advanced weapons and armor with a good assortment of your own basic troops to defend can make your archers quite potent against swordsmen and spearmen.
Julian the Emperor taught me a good lesson with them.
