1. How long to inactive castles last?

2. If you are in a castle that goes inactive, killing the troops of the person that doesn't show up to play, and his status changes to inactive, how long until his castle disapears?

3. If you havn't taken over a castle, but you have troops in it, attacking the 'unknown' troops, the inactive player's troops that is, will the castle stay there, or does it disapear after a certain ammount of time still?

thx!

i am in a game that took 12 players at the beginning, but now only has 11 castles, and one of the places where a castle was, has none. there are still the roads from where it was to the resource buildings next to it, but no castle...

It depends on the game. In skirmish 64, DoRW went inactive right from the start (never played at all). On turn 6, all of his men disappeared and all that was left was the gray slab for the castle.

In the last regular game I played, the castle slabs disappeared as well for the players who never even started the game.

In my last ultra, the slabs stayed.

If a player starts the game and then goes inactive, the number of turns until (inactive) shows by their name will vary depending on how far along the game is. After they go inactive, their troops are halved and turn black and their buildings get flashing picks on them that tell how many turns until the building will disappear. Then, all that is left is the slab. Attacking a building will reset the counter for that building to disappear.

Cheers,
H.
