like move and attack

Moving:
click your unit (left click once)
click where you want to go (like next to enemy)
If yo do not move you probably have run out of MPs.

For attacking troops:
MOVE your unit within range of enemy troop
click your unit
clik what you can attack

for buildings
MOVE your unit within range of enemy building

click on enemy building
select action you want to do*
*if no options appear on the right side of map /w/ building stats, then you probably can't attack for some reason, such as lack of BPs.

Although the online manual leaves something to be desired, it does explain most aspects of the game and should be read by anyone seriously trying to get better at this game.

I wrote a short tutorial that Req linked to on the home page. It answers some of the un-obvious questions you might have. There is also a tutorial about battling.

Another thing to do is try IRC or WEB chat to ask questions, you might get faster answers and usually the people in chat have experience with the game.
