Added Barbarian class. Now available for Battles Only.
Changed Bandits, Barbarians & Renegades in Campaigns to Grunts, Ryders & Brigands.

Also, DUELS are not ranked under Campaigns. Although they are ranked in the new system.

Quick question, it appears that who you fight in battles (present level wise) no longer matters and that it is simply the percentage of battles you win that matters? Is that true?

Just played my first Barbarian battle! Pretty cool!!! It will take a while to get used to the new troops, but I can't wait to play a Barbarian vs Medi battle.

Great job Req!

PS. Sorry for posting on the notice board. This is just the best update I have seen in a long time...and it was completely unexpected. Awesome!

Updated troops with special abilities having 50% chance or +50% damage. Dropped % down to 20% chance and +20% damage.

Rival Bonus : +20% damage to rival attack type.
Extra Damage : 20% chance of doing +20% Damage.
Confusion : 20% change of attacker self-inflicting 20% damage.
Max Damage : 20% chance of doing maximum damage.

Confusion? Does that mean I could attack a 5 pop woth a 100 pop and have 20% losses?

I'm sure he means that %20 of the unit's attack will be inflicted against the unit itself..

100 pop that inflicts 1000 damage will inflict 200 damage to itself

The confusion skill is a little messed up right now. I'm sure Req will fix out the kinks. But I really did have it happen where a 10 pop barbarian king attacked a one pop barbarian with confusion. The barbarian suffered 18 damage and died. The barbarian king took 200 damage from the confusion skill.

CRAZY

no troop has Confusion at the moment.
it didnt really fit in the Barbarian theme.

The Barbarian troop now has "Retaliation" - 20% chance retaliation strikes inflict +20% damage.

What is the point of this cofusion? Making the game more dependable on luck can hardly be the way to go, can it?

Could someone explain the new ranking system? It appears based on percentages of wins (for battles). I am ranked very high now, but according to the new numbers I am not ranked in the least. :-\

Follow up, using myself as an example, I have gotten to my battle rank through winning, particularly against high ranked battlers. Is weight on who you've battled going to exist in this new ranking system or will it turn to simple efficiency (percentage of wins)?

The new ranking system works very similarly. I think you may just have to complete a battle (which I don't think you have since the new system came into effect) for it to consider you?
