I'm seeing with the new duel games that there is a definite advantage to being able to manipulate one's units even one space at a time for example to avoid things like detection and or being attacked not to mention blocking a takeover by getting one space closer to a resource facility.

There isn't all that much advantage to attacking first unless the 100% attack can be made, but there is enough of an advantage to possibly be viewed as unfair by a player who is unable to access the game as often.

I suggest if possible that actual *game action/moves/turn* be limited to only four with moves able to be made an hour apart (i.e. e.g. a player in a 12 hour game could wait 6 hours to make one move and could still make three more moves within the second 6 hours of a 12 hour game, but only 4 moves total).

The game should still be allowed to be accessed but only 4 moves/turn should be allowed and I guess a number of units that can be moved would also need to be assigned as already mentioned in another thread.

I say instead of all this jumble...the other player can just log on more often, computers are everywhere i'm sure someone can find 3 minutes to make some moves

this is why DUELs will eventually become fully turn-based.

Well again,
I'm not the one not able to access, but I do see the advantages of being able to make a one space move before my opponent can make his move.
For example I moved too far and saw him coming so I was able to get out of his sight before he came on again.
If he had seen me, he may have sent his unit to help his other units instead.

PS:
Yes the turn-based system will be better for this problem.

i understand what you are saying as on turn zero i had all my troops set up right where i needed them and by the end of turn 1 i have all the visible resource piles and all of the buildings taken over plus the gold piles. the gold mine will nearly be taken over by the end of the turn. most of this i had done before my opponent moved. I'd say definately for a two player game it needs to be turn based but until then, we can deal with this

Okay fine ... I guess making the "Duels" turn-based will eliminate this problem, but in the mean time there are players who are just barely able to log into the game twice a day;
So I suggest that for these two-player "Duels" it is neither here nor there if a player can get a friend to make some moves for him when he is unable, and I request that it be allowed.
