I was asked recently if I had thought about starting my own clan. Well, who hasn't? "Wow! I'm the big boss cheese captain! I am honored and gloried (as I should be) for founding a clan! What I say goes!!"

I have also been asked to switch clans before, too.

Think about what being in a clan in real life was like. You lived in an area that had competing tribes or extended families that banded together for power and safety. Being in one of the clans was absolutely necessary to even exist in many cases.

Changing from one clan to another was next to impossible. I imagine. It would be seen as traitorous and even the clan who got the new member would have a hard time trusting the loyalty of the new guy.

I know that lots of people have changed clans in this game and I'm not calling them traitorous. I'm saying this to make an analogy. If I started a new clan it would mean leaving the clan I'm in, The Clowns of Chaos.

I wanted to join this particular clan because I made friends with the players in it first when I joined wol. I asked to join and had to prove myself to them before I was allowed in. It took a few months of playing before I was admitted so it meant a lot to me when it happened.

I've played in a few clan campaigns since then, learned more about my clanmates and certainly improved my playing because of it.

I suggest that players looking to get in clans, or start a clan, take some time and meet friends here, get a decent rank in camps and battles and then join or start a clan that they really want to be in and are willing to stick with for good. I myself would not join another clan unless the one I'm in ended or I was kicked out.

I counsel patience.

PS If I did start a clan, what would the name of it be?

Just another clown then you are!
You sound as if speaking words of wisdom... Thanks for sharing though. It's nice to hear from someone with a relativly sane point of view.
Perhaps one day, YOU will be the leader of your sacred clan of chaotic clowns.

I know how being traitorous is i'd spose, before i was in CoC i had a clan named KoW in which our battle rank hovered around an average of 80 and it wasnt that bad, but i got offered this spot in CoC and could not pass it up. My clanmates were very mad at me but i'm sure by now they are over it, hopefully. Heck even one of them, Iceman7103, a good friend of mine is now in my clan, i wouldnt trade being in CoC for anything, as i've learned many things. Just as Mog is saying work your way up the ladder before you decide to join a clan, you will be much better for it in the end

Without CoC, I'd be on the street, selling my body for cocaine.

I am in a clan as well and mind you its the best
id never switch clans... and if by any chance they kicked me out id never join another clan again so is my undying loyalty for this clan

i have some of the most awesome players in the game as friends and guides...

LOD,Sugarleo,Finguld,Braquemart,CTDXXX and mimic just to name most of them...

Join a clan youll like the sense of teamwork you have to go through to get things done. Not to mention the fact that if they are better then you, like in my situation you will learn more and a lot quicker then you would have on your own.It will definitely enhance your gameplay and you will not want to leave the game any time soon.me guarantee

i love being in a clan, cause i get to help my clanmates and they help me, this is the way we learn and grow. SNS has a good foundation of steady active players and we are always willing to help one another out.
