Server went down again briefly.I don't know why.
Just long enough to screw me in Novice 2,tho.

Pos Player Exp (killed) Exp (lost) Points
1 DOUGSTER.230 (41) 2075 (32) 7.291441
2 tarim....2075 (32) 230 (41) -7.28863

Any chance you can void the game or better still give me the points.

dued dont worry bout one little game, due to server problem(if it was) req has more important things on his mind than changing outcomes of games right now

That isn't fair Gamer, a loss of seven points in the battle ranking can really hurt when you have a high ranking. He will take at least 5 or 6 wins to re-gain those points. The higher you are, the harder it is to gain points and the easier it is to lose them.

BTW, I always assume that vet players like Tarim put thought into what they write before they write it. When I was only in the game for a week, I would never have told a vet they were off-base in a forum comment. Not a complaint, just something to consider.

Noticeboard is for req to tell stuff or for us to respond to changes(Purposeful or otherwise).
Yeah,if i'd won i'd have got 1.9 pts or thereabouts so that's a 9.2 spread for a game i'd WON ALREADY!

I know battle rankings are transitory but i still don't feel like i should be cheated by server downtime and not say a word.I'm nobodys doormat GTK.

If you don't ask you don't get.Does anyone remember Sugarleo DEMANDING his lost income back from a market bug...i do.

yea, the server was down for about 10-15 minutes.
how did that cause you to lose?

im not sure how to "undo" the game.
i havent really got anything in place to undo games at the moment.

and just manually going through records trying to delete them could be messy and have unforseen consequences.

i'll have to look into it further

Not sure if that was english,Rap.

Req,i had had no turns forced and had only two knight stacks to beat with 3 Demon Lord stacks and 2 Boulder demon stacks.
My opponent finished his turn, the server went down(i reckon a good 20+ minutes)and when it came back up the game had disappeared and i'd somehow lost.
I think it's the old mechanism, where the game disappears if no moves are made for a certain length of time.
The hour ticking by often marks the disappearance of a game, too.

Rap was speaking jibberish. allow me to translate:

"If undoing will cause server problems, then don't even bother, req. Focus on clan games. "

there you go. jibberish converted to english.

hey zorg about ur resposne, i may be a bit out of line here but im not one to think twice about what im saying and who im saying it too because i wont chnage my mind, and dont get me wrong im not disrespecting anyone but i dont think that one persons comments are more important thna others, and even if it takes a vet player longer to regain some points i dont think they should get better treatment and get a game undo just because they're vet

ok,no probs with whatever will be will be,and i know you're not being disrespectful but, like i said, noticeboard is for reqs updates and also issues that require his attention.
This forum is not for other people to comment on any post that is specifically directed towards req,ok.

Quite frankly,if it can't be done then fair play,i'll earn my battle points in the future.
As far as most players are concerned tho, campaigns are the true measure of a man/woman.

i was looking at the active list and noticed enrollment has dropped by 300. we could probably write off a third as one time sign ons, another third for those who haven't played many stretgy games and lost interest finding it difficult to compete, but the last third are most likely due to the server problem and bad attitudes by some lately towards others. again i emplore all waronliners to remember what made you come here first off and why you stayed. this will all be worked out, after all it is a beta testing experience i for one will stay until this product is on the market. thanks for the game REQ. and please try not to get wieghted down with all this.

But, nonetheless, the server problems ARE a concern.

The server is acting up again. I am having a hard time signing on and getting into my games and it is costing me in all three games. Some of the other folks have more time to sit and wait for the server to clear so they get the opportunity to smack me. Please do something about the server. Thanks.

I'm being patient. Just wanted him to know it is acting up again. I don;t care so much it costs me some during a game or anything but it could be a reason why so many of the folks disappeared from the active members department. Just want to help make the game better and develop a following because it is fun.

the server problems almost caused me to quit as i have only so many times a day i can try to log in and the server seams to be down most of them even if only for a short time
but then i took into acount that it is active beta and i am not paying for it( although once the server becomes more stable i intend to donate) so there is realy no room for complaint it is a kick arse free game online
