How often are you using the 4 towers and walls?
I think the money you can take by selling them are much valuable at the beginning.
I always sell my towers and half of the wall in first turn
You can build the other structures to act as a wall...

but on this topic i think the towers are kinda not usefull cuz range troops in them are suceptible to melee attacks, but i do use them to put melee troops in enterance for the defensive bonus,

I think this woudl be a bit more effective as a structure for castles,

Yes, Stealth, just select remove and resources are credited to your accounts.

Well I never knew that. But I don't want to get rid of my walls so that won't help me. I have replaced some walls with draw bridges but only in certain occasions.

I find it helpful sometimes near the start of the game to sell some of the pallisades to make up for the high wood usage for deploying marksmen or ballistas.
Later when I convert the castle pallisades to stone, I can always build the wall back with comms or add a tower in the gaps.

Interesting...I have only been in one campaign where I had someone attacking my castle...the others have all been fought near the other player's castle...selling some of it might make sense early on...good idea...abe

A good idea, but take care. When the enemy is advancing on you it's too late to replace those walls....

(Unless you only took one or two out, of course - but here we're talking about entire sections...)

In the corners you can easy take the walls and towers at the back

If i'm on the defensive, I may sell my front and back towers, replace them with walls, and build a tower in the entrance and another one in back of that.

When i'm on the defensive I scream like a bitch, wave my arms wildly in the air, and stamp my feet.

Sounds interesting. Mostly in turn 3-4 have no more resources. Selling half of towers and some walls could help.
Will definitively try it.

Disagreed. Towers are probably the single most important defensive tools in the castle. I only sell off the towers if I am giving up the castle else no way. I would instead build outer walls around my towers.
