I want to do an experiment.This will not only work for my own plasure but for knowledge.I want to see some good players in th same game.But i want to be in that game too.Then everyone will post their views here.we can make up rules as to what we will do and then share our experience with he newbies and everyone in general i want this well for the simple reason that allthough you can ask a player anything you want and there is a good chance theyll answer and let you know a few of their own secrets and will give you pointers etc. some players might not understand.If we play a game and (for example) we take a newbie insert him in this game and let him watch only he'll have a better experience than if we tell him.who thinks they can volunteer for this?Also post your thoughts on the idea in general.oh one more thing i know there are newbie games but if you see things happening with the "big" guys you'll get a lot more told by them then your fellow newbies.

Sorry but itīs not possible for higher ranked players to join low score games and vice versa. I can only join games from 21 points or higher for instance.

im not saying necessarily extremely huge level characters. also there are certain games where newbies can be in right of the top.

The only way I can see this working out at all is if all the people involve made an extra account and occupied a lower rank game to do this. And even then, the legality of it is strained and a lot of people will disapprove of that and filling up a game spot a real game could use. Just some thoughts... :-)

Heh, I guess you're refering to our game with "also there are certain games where newbies can be in right of the top" 8)

I think a more interesting way would be to have the higher level guys (at least, w/in the range newbies can fight with) could pair up with one or two new(er) players and act as a council to help coordinate attacks. It'd be like having an alliance before the game begins.. and it would give the new players a longer period of time to survive in a game...

Or perhaps have a 15 turn truce so the new players can build up an army.. have a pure military fight between teh new players and then break off into pairs and help the new players learn some strategy.

At least, that's my interpretation...

or just put in the beginner games just 1 veteran who can learn everybody in the game things

What might be interesting is for a special set up to be made where new players work with an experienced player as a team as one player. The younger (newer) one would be doing the playing, but the experienced one would be able to see all of the screens and information that the newbie is seeing and then using messages, the two could discuss each move. The learning would be great, and then the new person would better understand the game, and become a better player. The more experienced player may also gain a new understanding of the game from fresh eyes.

Hmm misread the post. Thought the vet would see ALL screens and views. Intresting, but I suspect it might be a bit of code issue here.

If it was made to work though, it would allow new players to feel more confident in the game sooner. I bet we lose lots of new people who just feel overwelmed wtih all of the stuff they have to do and decide.

I would have to agree. We need some way at least to simplify it and break it down at first.

How about you add something to the idea board about a tutorial system for newbies, where specifically chosen tutors could be in beginner games, which has a forum for the newbies to talk and learn how to play. Then again would some of us high levels want to teach others our tactics . For me...i would, but i'm still reluctant.

Well not your direct tactics.for example i never use an especific tactic(shouldnt have said that but....)so i wouldnt fit too well but i could teach a lot of things ive learned and then again ido have one strategy....HIT&RUN!!!!!

what about making only that system avaible with veteran helpers when the new guy pays for the game.
So that way requim can get more money and may can give waronline a new look
