Req I have a problem in game 45. Johad has a unit of 1100+ scouts. When I attack them the results window doesn't post any results. I get a message in my messages of casualties but nothing changes on the map. I asked Johad not to make any moves until you take a look at it. This is the first time I've seen anyone make a 1k+ unit.

Something had been posted before concerning 1000pop armies...I think that maybe they didn't receive damage when attacked, sounds like that's what you're up against.

Cheap tactic.......no, I guess this would be called bug exploitation.

so i suppose i shouldnt go spreading this around then huh? dont worry i wouldnt abuse a bug, even if i was getting raped by my enemy. i know others that would though.

I know a neighboure already building his single stack of 1000+ army.....

Nasty Bug.If they attack with the unit it will be brutal,and unfair.Ask them to stop and transfer out to below 1000 pop(if possible?),whereupon you can continue fighting.

Part of the coding that causes this bug could,however,be used to effectively represent Heroes in WoL.I have a 'buried' suggestion that i'll bump for anyone interested.

It's the Lt. Pain 1000+ pop bug, it is illegal to use...

I have also tried to attack this pile with no success. I've asked the owner (Johad) to play fairly, so hopefully things will be resolved in an appropriate manner

Yes...report the player by all means, this shouldn't be tolerated, and hopefully the bug can be fixed quickly.

No problems, he's transferred down - crisis over until the bug gets fixed. note: this is a serious bug and should be sorted as a matter of priority.

i agree about the need for quickly fixing this bug
i basically hav know about this bug from the start of my standard campaignes but cheating by its use is not good
as i does 2 things to the cheaters #1 ya will get reported and #2 ya become target #1 in all theyre games

aye, see the "Can't attack army" thread below, bug was discovered Oct. 9th and prob will not be fixed since Req is working on getting out the new version, besides 999 still makes a nice stack

Req or someone with the power could atleast make a news about it...I never knew till ashuri mentioned it to me, but didn't believe em because I thought they were just pissed about me going from dead last to #1 from killen inactives

Enjoy it while you can, Mankiller...because I don't think your ever gonna get another 1000+ stack again.
Based on your post here, you obviously knowingly exploited a bug for all the benefits you could gleen from it. It shows your character and honor,not only as a player, but as a person. I think bug exploiters and multis should have their accounts deleted when, such as this instance, the person is aware of what their doing.
Even if your account is left alone...I believe you'll find you have placed a bullseye on yourself, and that you will find it hard-put to even come close to winning another game.
Nobody likes a cheater and I, for one, will be gunning full force at you if I ever encounter you in one of my games.
