| Muff Daddy DA Posts : 212 | Posted : Sunday, 4 April 2004 - 04:08 I have about 30 of each resources building, and of course im makin a fat stack of resources everyturn. I started upgrading each building before and I found that it seemed a little expencive. | |
| VivaChe Posts : 1041 | Posted : Sunday, 4 April 2004 - 05:28 how about you just calculate it? example: a goldmine upgrade gives you 250+ every turn and costs 2500 so after 11 turns itīs worth it. | |
Kyrion ![]() Posts : 633 | Posted : Sunday, 4 April 2004 - 08:04 generally 20 turns is worthwhile.. Upgrade the highest turn remainings of each type first. Gold mines are most important, gem ponds are generally least (if you have all the techs you want they are only needed in large quantity for upgrading barracks). | |

| the cat Posts : 404 | Posted : Sunday, 4 April 2004 - 13:30 I often do it to my gold mine. If you think you're going to use a lot of metal, upgrade that early too. Otherwise I don't upgrade anything else until they regenerate after turn 40. I find it's usually best to spend money and resources elsewhere early on. Remember also that if you can't defend what you've upgraded, then your opponent gets the upgrade advantage when they take over your resource buildings. | |
| Negative Creep Posts : 450 | Posted : Monday, 5 April 2004 - 18:38 this kinda goes in to my general thought: | |
