i fought numerous battles with a guy who said to me that demons were more or less unbeatable is this true?

he had 2 demi gods 3 demons lords and some expendable units.

my personal oppinion is to take hc and knights. knights to deal with the demon lords and use the hc on the demis.

do you think this should work?

Demons are easy to defeat if you know what you're doing.

But whatever you do, never fight Kyrion... he has a super strong formation of Orphaths who are unbeatable!

The key to defeating demons is to take down each of his stacks, not just focusing on one (unless of course he leaves it completely open for a 6 on 1 or something). 2 stacks of 5 demi-gods are weaker than one stack of 10 (provided that he's got enough other troops to prevent you from getting a lot of hits in on one at a time). They'll take more retals and they'll gain levels slower.

But sometimes it is more clever to kill the small stacks before.
there is almost no difference between 8,9 or 10 demigods.they are able to kill stacks of basic and expert with one attack.but without those small stacks they will get a counterattack(defence) every time they attack you.

* smiles *

No-one can beat the orphaths, because they are fighting for their freedom!

slightly more on topic, if he has got lots of big hitters you could take lots of weak stuff and some range and try to get into a narrow area where his flying doesn't help, or you could go for exactly the same strategy, that way the strat is bound to be beaten (even if it is by itself)!

also, using the totd could help (if it isn't demi's or demon lords!)
