One thing I wanted to discuss that was not yet made clear to me was the use of the barracks bug.

My opinion is that we should NOT use it, on turn one everybody should update their barracks so that they produce only 18 scouts or whatever. I can trust my BoS clan mates to do this and I CAN trust all of the IJA members to do this also. I want a game based on strategy and clan organisation, not something based more on luck. What dya all say?

It would be nice if all the members of clan 27 posted their acceptance here to avoid any future misunderstandings. And make that turn 0 that we update our barracks.

Due to the nature of this bug I'd suggest making it turn 1 instead of turn 0. Everyone will still get a small bonus going from turn 1 to turn 0, but what if someone misses the start?

This can easily happen as the countdown doesn't take 12 hours after the last person is in. The game already knows what hour it's gonna start and counts down to that hour. So it could be as little as an hour before the game actually start that countdown (and turn zero) begins. As such I wouldn't advise holding players (who may or may not be on during a small period of time like that) to change their barracks on turn 0.

Viva..... because the bug cant really be enforced then by the rules of the tournament it should be allowed BUT if all players agree to not use it then that is the best outcome.
So if all of the 5 BoS players and all of the 5 IJA players post here in this thread that they wont use it then so be it..... but if someone doesnt agree and wants to use the bug then they should say so. Then everyone should use it.

What Viva, your suggesting that since it is now explicitly listed as part of the tournament rules (instead of implied as it was all along) that maybe for the tournament it is now okay to go ahead and use the bug? Maybe you should go reread all your posts directed at me and insert the name VivaChe everywhere is says Fanatic. .

The thread was started before the rules have been changed.

I think both sides (IJA and BOS) donīt want to use bugs to get advantages at all.
So both clans donīt want to accept the use of bugs in normal campaigns and in this special clan game, of course.

The 2 clans of a clan tourney match are allowed to change the rules of the tourney.
Other players should please avoid to post their spam here!

It seems that everyone in the upcoming semi-final is ahppy not to use the barracks bug.

So am I, I will change my production in turn 0 if possible or turn 1 if I miss it as in Card's post.
