ha good luck with that clan.

And by the way, I'm the Lord of the Flies around here, so I own you and indirectly own your clan. Don't let me down.

Yay!

Another "random" clan started by a "noob" that will never succeed and "will" further clog up the clan pages, making "it" difficult for new players to find a good "clan."

Oh, I'm sorry.

I make it a habit of mine, when I see a new clan starting up, to at least TRY to convince the creator of the truth. The truth of the matter is that, because of the current situation, a new clan started by a new player has no chance of succeeding. Many new clans post their passwords in the description...and yes they do get members, but most of their members simply go inactive and quit the game.

There are more than 100 clans on WoL. From memory, I can probably only list about 10 or 15 of them. The others simply...aren't successful. There are so many clans that are started by players completely new to the game, that even if you had AMAZING spokesmanship skills, your clan would still fall prey to the problems that plague new clans: inactivity, lack of devoted players, and obscurity.

Like I said, I make a habit of, for the good of the WoL community, trying to bring new clan creators to see the light. I've done it many times before. A lot of them are as...fiesty...as you seem to be. However, in time, they come to see the sense in my words. However, this time due to a pressing external matter, I had to hurry up my message and I did not phrase things as gently as I could. I used negatively connotated words and phrases such as noob, clog up, never succeed...

The way to start a good clan: Play the game a while and join an existing clan. Gain a reputation and a circle of friends and allies through your games. Put a few veterans to shame. Then, when you start your clan, people will have reason to join you rather than join one of the 50 or so clans started by new players.

Who do I think you are? I think you're a fiesty new player to the game, and I'm sorry that I left such a negative impression on you. We love getting new players in this game, and I really hope that one day you'll rise up to my level and offer me a challenge on the battlefield.

Who do I think I am? Just a player of Waronline, able to kick the ass of 98% of players in battles (Not a made up statistic, there's 5 or 6 players out of 448 who I don't beat consistently) and who's had quite a few humbling experiences in campaigns. I also think I've been around here for quite some time, and you should recognize that I just might know what I'm talking about.

Most of all, I'm someone who you should never take seriously. 90% of things I say are jests, jokes, gags, or just plain silly.

well thank you for you advice it makes sense to me and i am sure you are a very seasoned warrior and i am very impressed by you stats and your irreguard to the no profanity rule set down by the site's copyright owner Alexander the great. Anyway I appreciate your concern for the future of newer players. But you should not under estimate me as i most assuredly do not underestimate you. I am not entirely sure i am going to heed your advice however for reasons of my own

It's not you that I underestimate, my opinion of your clan is based solely upon looking at the clan page and seeing at least 50 clans with clan averages of 1:1 and half or more of their players inactive. What I'm trying to do, really, is save you the time and effort of promoting your clan, since there's a huge possibility of it being a letdown for you. Also, because the game creator is M.I.A. as of the moment, inactive clans are not being deleted. The clan page is clogged, making it impossible for players in search of a clan to determine what clans are active.

ok! you have convinced me that half the people on the site are people looking to sign up for something to feel special and i was mainly trying to boast my patriotism along with some other fellow Americans. Thanks for you advice once again (no one else is helping)

Also, since players from all over the world play this game, naming your clan USA would exclude some of the best players. The top player of this game is from Russia.

And another thing you'll find when you're playing an international game. Thanks to our President, a lot of the world has negative views as to the U.S. of A. I haven't seen a lot of anti-americanism around here, but I'm sure its there, lurking in the shadows...
