| linkasy Posts : 651 | Posted : Monday, 20 September 2004 - 13:53 right i find smaller stacks r better but people tend to go for larger bigger stacks. What i mean its better to have lots of smaller stacks of say 20 than one massive stack. It allows u to have a much better stratagy monavability, gives ut he appearance of more men and allows u to surround one single unit use on unit to soak damage and then attack with each in turn wile he cant defend allowing u to smash him to bits!!!! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Sage Posts : 1871 | Posted : Monday, 20 September 2004 - 16:55 um...no. It doesn't work that way. The big stack would absorb and destroy 3 or 4 of your small stacks before its retal power ran out. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| MarkK Posts : 352 | Posted : Monday, 20 September 2004 - 17:16 I picture Linkasy cruising through the "maze-map" with this hoard of little armies and running into a huge enemy Ballista... Last Edited : Monday, 20 September 2004 - 17:18 not having all of your troops in one stack does help, tactically. But really the max damage cap is a good place to stop in regular campaigns. (smaller stacks earlier). How many military academies do you want to be building? This uses up valuable resources and comm time. I might support SLIGHTLY smaller stacks...but I can't realistically see how I could win anything with greatly reduced stacks in swarms... thatīs my opinion too... youīre brilliant CTD... oh it is, it is. donīt be shy trust me it has other advantages You COULD spilt your forces that way and attack from multiple angles....but the way WOL is set-up, there's normally only one viable area to REALLY attack - the castle - and the force you need to take it out is huge even if you DO take your entire army really im surprised noones figuard the one last advantige Try me. go into the same campaign as me and u might find out That may be a little difficult why? im in the list for slow 14 i think and i welcome anyone who want to see me get a royal wopping!!! Perhaps, but I can't actually join Slow 14. It's not on my list | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
