Uhm, you know, I was just sitting over here minding my own business, taking care of this and that, and doing what I can from keeping spies out of the realm, when what do you know? I wake up and there's all the Zeusy looking things invading my castle. Not to mention the Prancing ponies outside my gates. I sure don't recall inviting them...

grumpalot's Castle has been taken over by Zeus.
but despite that the AAA team has lost over 1000 more men then the challenging team.

You ever notice how the clan game discussions get real quite from one side or the other (or both) when the players on that side are not feeling particularly confident at the time? With that in mind lets see if we can rally the troops a bit .

Lord Fanatic was troubled. He had just received a letter from Lt Brar of the 1st mace legion. It read: "I've led the men in supporting Lord Zanders troops to repel the invading kingdoms of savetuba and Ultima Bahamaut. We successfully repelled the invaders and gave chase back to Bahamuts castle. We now however find ourselves in a grave situation. We are besest on nearly all sides. savetuba has sent additional armies from the north. Bahamuts castle lies to the east, and we can see men furiously at work instructing the local peasentry in the crafts of war. And just recently our outlying scouts have spotted 25 score of prancers troops marching from the south, followed by 15 score of archers. Lord Zanders general has indicated reinforcements are on the way, but we do not know when they will arrive, or if they will do so in time." Lord Fanatic had to many other issues to deal with. Lt Brar would have to make due as best he could with the well trained men he had. With the fall of Lord grumpalots lands he had to make plans for a possible invasion from that direction.

(4 days later)

While pondering in his study Lord Fanatic was interrupted by a messanger. A new message from Lt Brar at last. At the very least this indicated his commander was still alive, or at least had been a few days ago. He opened the sealed envelope to read: "My Lord Fanatic, the hand of Providence has smiled upon us. We scattered the troops of the renegade Bahamut and they now cower in their barracks and try to hide from our forces. Lord Zanders reinforcements also arrived just in time to route the forces of savetuba, though we suffered some heavy casualties to our light cavalry in that encounter. That left only prancers armies to deal with. Our task is not yet complete, but last night we engaged in a very successfull raid against his forces. Our estimates indicate over 100 swordsmen are dead and nearly 130 of his light cavalry. I am sad to report though that we lost 24 of your best scouts in our raid and 2 of my own men fell. As I mentioned, there is still work to be done. Bahamut is again gathering together his troops. But they will rue the day they ever thought us a weak nation to be so easily conquered."
