Hey all lets try this
same rules as other tourney
... and single elimination but
how to make a tourney and enter as many players as we want let it be 4 or let it be max of 8? well i think i have a system that might work...
4 brackets section A-D
for example u have team 1with 8 players, team2 with 5player and team 3 with 6 players and team 4 with 4 players
ill make it as so since team 1 has 8 two in each bracket then next highest number of players team 3 and then team2
and so on the idea is to spread the biggest numbers amoung the brackets and the next round it gets redone and so on and u cant fight ur own clan member the idea is to have everyone participate...
clan leaders please post who u will be entering...

(1. Clan battle tournaments don't work.
(2. Raptor tournaments are screwed up.
(3. Raptor Clan Battle Tournaments = bad.

BA: If Raptor was offended by my "childish approach to things" I will eat my shoe. Its an running gag I have with him...I make fun of how he makes tournaments, he makes a crack about how I'm not tough enough to handle em...

sage, you didnt have to post your no in that way, just dont post a yes, you dont have to dis his entire tourny to make a point that you dont like them =( I found that kinda mean, honestly i think everyone that participated in his last tournament had fun. and there well run, he gets on you if you dont play your game.

Second, oppinions are like A$sholes... everyone has one and everyones stinks...

Oh, but it is ok for Raptor to diss other peoples tu=ourney ideas to say no. I didn't see you post anything about his being rude when he made his comments in my tourney thread.

i didnt see him post anything about that, if you want ill chide him too.

Me and raptor both made posts concerning the clan battle tourney that Ghengis and sage were organizing. But we were not rude. We tried to make constructive comments to help make the tourney better, to help make it more exclusive. Basically Sage does his usual childish approach to anything and that is blame others, be rude, be negative and be obnoxious.

And now we have 6 replies to this thread that have nothing to do with the topic.

well whatever its just an idea... and i disliked ur tourney cause u were giving loses to clans for no reason just cause some players in that clan didnt or couldnt play battles i mean comon what kind of rule is that... i thought this idea was fair and its accually more favorable to clan with more players unlike the way u two were making it which favored your clan ...unlike my clan which has few players than most clans... well sage u should stop being pissed cause u cant handle players among ur level thats the real reason why u didnt like my tourney...

The "if we have less players, can we take forfeits" wasn't our idea, it was a concession we made.

But we eventually agreed that our tournament sucked, and that all clan battle tournaments were hopeless.

I thought that was the general consensus

Eventually this tourney will come down to a clan with many battlers versus a clan with only a few, and then we'll run into the same problem as before. Sorry I came across as rude, I was just poking fun...like I always do....I thought people were used to that

Well raptor considering I actually took the idea from BA's the other battle tournament thread I thought you guys would find it exceptable. I was not trying to make it favor any clan. I was trying to get something where the entire clan participated in an event. Since I have joined the crusaders I have found WOL to be even more fun, because now I have friends to share my experiences with, to talk with about what is happening in the game, and to just chat with while I wait for a turn update.

On the other hand I do not like tournaments that are single elemination because it allows for to much luck. A good player can lose just from having a bad day, like they are always doing the minimum damage while their opponent always does the max. They wind up out when they weren't necessarily playing poorly, they were just having bad luck. Alsoi you like to alter the rules mid-way through the tourney. I am not talking about giving players a little extra time, I have no problem with that. But you said the other tourney was single elemination, then all of a sudden there is a second chance group.

Before I would agree to play, I would expect to see rules laid out with out them changing half way through, including double elemination.

yeah but have u talked to sage about why i changed it, he started complaining about luck also and blah blah so i said umm ok let me do something to give u(sage) a chance but it wont be easy and as u saw it wasnt easy.. 5 wins against players isnt an easy task and finding them to play especially but i dont plan to change rules anymore cause that was just wrong... but it didnt even affect the tourney cause things played out how they would have anyways...
