Req,
I ask you to consider changing towers back to where they can be taken over. For walls and palisades the idea of not taking them over is fine (you should even change the initial castle walls to "unknown" instead of belonging to a player so they would actually have to be destroyed by troops to get the reduced resources back), but there is no reason why you should not be able to take over a tower if the enemy abandons it.

This would also restore a bit of the balance between offense and defense when making an attack on a castle. If you can drive the defenders back, you can get a foothold in the castle or at least stop the defender from being able to get the tower bonus every time they drive you back.

Agree, towers should be able to be captured (and outposts), just not walls.

I'll agree too but I think it should include repair.
I spent about 4000 for stone only to watch my tower be destroyed right after completion with my commandeer right there watching too... helpless to prevent it and with no chance to even locate the "cats"
which the way my opponent has been squandering wood I didn't dream he could afford for several turns even with two castles and territories.

Cat range needs to be pushed back down to 8 (or 9) now that they have the improved range defense. I don't mind the rule about not being able to repair towers (or buildings) under attack.

Agree completely with Hwatta & Fanatic. Tactics are much more dynamic and fun if you can take over Towers. Please change it back.

I agree as well. The new takeover range is effective enough at preventing comm storming.
