I'm agaist abriviations in forums too, these abriviations kingmen3 brought up are for fast paced instant messaging among two or more people who both know the english language if not nativly, then very well. forums should be more formal in what is expected, ESPECIALLY forums like this one that have many users that don't speak english as a first language.
What if all of a sudden, they all decided to riddle our forums with posts in there own languages? I'd think it would be kind of rude, because I would have no way of figuring out what they were saying. I say we should all respect eachother and type in the clearest english possible. Its what we have all agreed to use.

This thread is dangerously off topic, this is the suggestion box, and it started with a question (badly written) asking about reporting abusive players. The thread shouldn't be in this forum to start with, and now we are talking about whether people should use abriviations in forums! WAAAY off topic.

Im closing this now. as I said it wasnt anthing all that bad but it looked like it could lead to it. I just wondered and now I know. My solution? stop listening! lol. It just seemed odd when 3 guys attacked in a coordinated attack and one of them said he was the alliance leader. it looks now like it was a coincidence and someone trying to scare me into submission. everyone ran away anyway o its all good.
