| Posted : Tuesday, 26 October 2004 - 15:21 today is the special day for balista which means the had tat 50% of doin +50% damage....but...did they had an advantage for range too? in game 59,i`m having an extremely hard time...i got hit by ballista out of nowhere all the time even when i`m running away which means he aint got any tower tat can hit my marksmen then,i tot probably he just caught up wit me and ran away...so i got into my tower and he still hits me without getting hit back in return he is certainly dun hav any towers in range for his ballista to hit me! so i suppose tis is bug? try to look into it req thx

| Posted : Tuesday, 26 October 2004 - 15:24 No...ballista do not get extra range when they are the troop of the day.
If you look at your defense messages, it will tell you exactly where the enemy ballista fired from. This will give you a clue if they fired and moved or are in a tower.
Commandeers can build a tower and the ballista can move in on the same turn. Running won't matter if they are in the right position compared to your troops. Cheers, H. |

| Posted : Tuesday, 26 October 2004 - 15:25 oh...and btw....his nearest tower is 14 hex away so no matter wat he cant get to me rite? range of balista,8 + tower,3 =11 :p...just to make sum calculations lol |

Ballistas have been downgraded to 8 range, towers add 2, but ballis in towers can still fire 11 squares away it seems. At least my catapults feel so.  |
