i got firefox 2, and it doesn't give me no trouble at all either. good firewall and it's "FREE"!!!

anyway, this problem has to be fixed you can't expect new people to coe to this site if it has trojens on can you?

AVG anti virus...each time it gets on my system the anti virus responds and asks what to do...it even deletes it and like linkasy i use ad aware 6 heehee and i have what firewall is it allthough i dontuse it much? its free i think it might be...Sygate personal firewall...free and very good indeed i keep it off cause MSN blows unfortunately and the smallest thing affects it...namely the firewall
a pop up blocker works well too i use cleanmyPC popup blocker...its free too i think...cant remember if you had to do something....well anyways i recommend google tool bar as a pop up if your not sure about the one im talking about

and a "fix-it program utiliti program installed, that has a virus program". i never use all of them at the same time. only 1 firewall and 1 anti program. to many messes up ur comp and/or slows it down. they will be fighting each other.(programs conflicting each other).

well I've got:
linksys hardware router/firewall
norman antivirus
adaware 6
windows firewall(yeah, its a nuisance)
firefox
MacAfee virus checker also checks my email at the providers end.
nothing much else.
can't you also get processors which are virus resistant or something now, so they don't get damaged so much?

@linksy – is the “norman antivirus” mentioned in your post connected in any way to Gen. Norman Schwatzkopf? It must be a formidable anti-virus software…!

Ant my Spyware Begone detects Adaware as a spy and erases it! heh heh. I have heard before that it was... Ithink these anti spy programs just infect you so you have to buy more stuff from them... or maybe this is the 21st century version of mafia protection money? "buy my program or you'll get hurt" and they are the ones making the spys? hmmm... food for thought

actually I've just found out, I never had adaware 6, I had SE all along.
just click on the adaware personal link in the software bit. there should be a download link there somewhere.

oh Ive had adaware a few times but Spyware Begone erases it everytime I run a scan... AdAware installed itself without my knowledge twice.

i have:
adaware 6
vet anti virus
and no problems vet does a great job if i do get a virus its gone as soon as its detected,i dont have to do anything!!!

all comercial ons do a good job, otherwise they just wouldn't be able to keep up with the compitition

um adware 6 does have a download option for the upgrade, it's just not as good.

Even with all 4 of those programs I still get over 30 different virus/spyware programs a week.

all i use is Sygate Firewall and McAfee Anti-virus protection and get no pops, no viruses, or no trojans.

If ne body out there using more then 1 firewall and 1 anti-virus protection at the same time will have conflicts(virues and troj). Try using only one of each and see if u still r getting virues.
