I think i got a bug, when i go to sell/buy 500 stone, wood, metel or gems. this is what i get 4 them!

Selling 500:

Gems: $506
Metel: $173
Stone: $0
Wood: $308

Buying 500:

Gems: $1183
Metel: $772
Stone: $555
Wood: $938

I'm getting no $ 4 selling 500 stone!! i go to sell wood. i don't get alot of gold 4 that either. then i go back to stone, and now what i was getting for stone just droped. now i'm getting less gold for 500 stone. i'm getting less and less everytime i buy or sell. or is it that i to am n a lms game and it's turn 228?

Copy and paste the market stats here; I'm guessing that the prices of those have dropped so low, that the money you get for the stone (and other things) doesn't even make up for the transaction fee (or for the others, just barely).

that would be my guess too...the market just has an over-abundance of resources due to eveyone selling.

supply and demand drives the market...if no one is buying, then the value for selling just keeps dropping and dropping.

Selling (or buying) of a good lowers (or increases) marginally the cost of all other goods as well (not sure what that is, but it certainly seems have been intended).

On a side note k3, while I can normally translate your broken typing without to much difficulty, this one was particularly difficult. Notably these parts here:

"I'm getting no $ 4 selling 500 stone". I read this first as "I'm getting not $4 selling 500 stone". I had to continue reading to get context for this first sentance and understant that you did indeed mean no and hadn't typoed NOT, that $ and 4 indeed needed a space between them and $ meant cash.

AND

"or is it that i to am n a lms game and it's turn 228" comes out as "or is it that I to am an a lms game and it's turn 228". After deciphering correctly translated to (I believe) "or is it that I am in a lms game and it's turn 228".

If you are going to insist on broken typing, at least correct your grammer and watch out for things like $ 4 so that they can be understood properly. Either that or don't expect any further repsonses from me in the future on any questions you might ask (as I am sure others have already decided to do long ago). Not to worry, as evidenced by the previous answers in this thread there will always be others to answer though I am sure - so it would really be just more of a relief to me than a threat to you.

King, I think that if you had all the upgrades, THEN you would get money, but at this point you can only sell 200 resources a pop at 50% of their value with a 250 gold transaction fee. So basically selling 200 stone would give you less than 250 gold, so you just cover the transaction fee.

Hope this clears things up.

The "buy" and "sell" prices would be closer if the market techs were maxed out.

If you had max, it would read like this:

Resource Trading
You can trade up to 500 resources per transaction.
There is also a 250 Gold transaction fee.
MarketPlace efficiency is 90% making purchase prices 111% and sell prices 90%

You are missing these two techs:

+ Advanced Trading
Advanced Trading allows marketplaces to trade up to 500 resources per transaction.

+ Expert Trading
Expert Trading allows you to trade resources at almost cost prices.

Ya confused us there for a second, the first chart you posted was from your LMS 20 game, the second LMS 1

according to my calcs, at the current prices there:

Buy 500 ... Sell 500
$1,150.00 .... $480.00 Gems
$765.00 ..... $170.00 Metal
$555.00 ..... -$5.00 Stone
$925.00 ..... $300.00 Wood

The biggest prob is that your market is crap, it has been oversold

At a sell price of 0.50, you will not get any money for selling, 0.50 x 500 = 250 then minus the 250 fee leaves you with $0, technically, if the sell price is below 0.50, you would lose money selling your resources...

and figuring the numbers for what you had posted originally at the top, the amounts at that time were:

avg ..... buy ..... sell
$1.68 .. $1.87 .. $1.51
$0.94 .. $1.04 .. $0.85
$0.55 .. $0.61 .. $0.49
$1.24 .. $1.38 .. $1.12

Your Gems and Wood have rose $0.02, your Metal $0.01, and your Stone is unchanged.

The way to increase market value is to buy, the less supply the higher the price, when you sell, it increases the supply, and lowers the price.
