how can you get the government and empire tech? what techs do you need for them? does anyone know that?

Well yes the online manual just has them listed after castle defence with no requirements given. I don't know, but I suspect that they will probably come available when other regular income techs are had first;
and also I suspect that "empire tech" might require that a player own more than one castle, but I'm only guessing.

If someone knows definitely, I would like to know also.

I got every possible technology in LMS7 and Government and Empire are not even on the list. We'll let you know when they arrive online. until then take a chill-pill

I posted without seeing all of the posts and I'm not doubting that the techs are not available yet because I did say I'm only guessing and that I don't know but would like to know.
However when and if these techs come available, I do suspect that having all the techs might not be sufficient because I truly suspect that "empire tech" will probably require that more than one castle be owned;
but of course if the problem is that they are only listed but not available yet then requirements will probably be added to the manual when the techs are available.

PS:
Just to offer some ideas, actually I think "empire tech" should be available as soon as another castle is owned and also possibly government has been researched;
but government should come available IMO even before "tax reform".
