Anyone else experiencing this?
It may be my "56K connection" but I was having some difficulty to close a few "popups" that were not offering a "close option" with a right-click and by coincidence I'm navigating the forum relatively very sluggishly now.

It's incredibly slow for me, and I'm at work with a really fast connection.

i think the problem was the server of waronline itselves...
me too having the same problem even in the game map
took quite some time to move a single stack of army
forum was even worse-cant get into some of the threads

yeah it is the waronline server i guess... i have a 1024k connection ... so it hasn't got to do with you 56k... my google toolbar is blocking all the pop-ups so that's not the problem.... guess it is the server

btw when i'm loading a map it's also very slow

Yes it's better already and obviously from what has been said is not my connection or computer that was the cause. Sorry but that is comforting to know.
We had another big solar storm or flare yesterday I think. Do they have an effect on the server?
