I cant seem to get drawbridges in games that i didnt have it alread before the new tech upgrade additions. I havet the same techs in 3 games ut in 2 i dont have access to drawbridges and in the 3rd (started before the modification) I have the tech already. did the requirements change? or whats up with it? i dont want to say its a bug yet.

after furthur study it looks like drawbridges are no longer a part of the game. and towers are indestructable. i bet theres a way to exploit that! lol.

Yes it's a bug. i had the same thing happened to me. was playing 3 games and 2 of the games i could build them and the 3rd it wouldn't let me.

I wonder if anyone has brought it to req's attention... my enemy got DBs before me and I cant let my walls be open unless I want retaliation... its a bit annoying

also if u owned towers b4 they were changed. u can delete them and get the resouces. i think caused u owned them b4 the change.

Drawbridges are still available....have you upgraded to castle walls?

this upgrade was only available with stone walls/castle walls.
And i donīt think req has changed it.

I have almost all the techs... How many castles do you have to upgrade to castle walls? I hate to spend 5000 gold PER castle when I have 3 and they dont have any walls at all... that would be a waste

the upgrade is per castle!
And the upgrade changes normal pallisades to stone walls.
without pallisades in/at your castle you canīt upgrade them.

you should only have to upgrade 1 castle to stone walls to get the drawbridge tech.

well it worked in 1 game and not in the other.... i think its still a bug. getting ready to start a new game so we will see.

As a side-note, drawbridges have ALWAYS been notoriously difficult to get to work.

Sadly, it means you're unlikely to get this one fixed too soon...
