what is the point of the log book what does it do for you or anyone else???

you could keep battle notes in it, who you have a nap with, how long it will last, etc. you can use it for anything or nothing if you prefer.

I record everyone's castle position and any naps or agreements I have with them.

Nice idea Bloody! A great place for the NAP agreemnets so messages do not go away. I thought them useless as well, but that is a fine way to use them. Thanks!

read my, as you called it, "good general guide" in strategy forums. there i say that itīs perfect to write down your agreements in the logbook.

I too have used it to compile all castle locations and naps. When I am allied with someone I share this information. I find the logbook very useful.
