Nope...still don't have master weapons...
But I did just buy master armor a turn or so back.
That "dead end" you created made it like shooting fish in a barrel for you. Reminded me of the "Battle of the Crater" at Petersburg.

You sure made a "beeline" outta that "corral" ... 
but that "master armor" did smother my ballista attack pretty good. I wasn't sure about the "master weaponry" but still your attack was more sharp (i.e. more effective) ... maybe because the "master armor" caused you to be more agressive.
It was pretty expensive though.
