why is it that I can't build any buildings. I checked my ressources and they seemed high enough, I had 144 bp's, I was tried hex's beside my commander and a few away, and It made no difference, then a few turns later it let's me build, then I can't build again. Is there something I'm missing?

If you were able to build at one time, I'm inclined to think there is nothing technically wrong
but there are several conditions to consider like:

a) location ... (yes some buildings need plenty of space and can be obstructed by another building or terrain so you may have to move your unit a space or two and then try to find the right "build spot")

b) proximity to enemy or barbarian units ... (again you may be too close to them so move away from them or eliminate them)

c) rubble or bloodstains ... (you cannot build on them and a large building may be extended over them so again if they are near, try moving away from them)

d) tech research ... (for example you need commerce to build a market, you need military to build a military academy and a barracks and you need a military academy and I think advanced training to build a training guild)
**the manual says only that you need a military academy to build a training guild so I'm not sure if also "advanced training" is needed for the training guild**

e) some buildings require a technology and also a building to allow you to build like for example walls require castle defence but also a blacksmith shop

PS:
It is very complicated so I advise everyone to click the online manual under "Help" on the menu bar and then under buildings click "Medieval" to get exact requirements to build various building structures for Medieval campaigns.

Is it possible popup blocking is in effect at times?

Again today I attempted a blacksmith and military academy but could get neither. I had plenty of ressources, I have alltechs except commerce and recon. The little thing poped up that shows you the buildings you can build, and when I clicked nothing happened. It said I had all the right stuff, and I no problems we're noted at the bottom.

u cant build if there is another commander within 2 or 3 hexes..

"Funky" means you might not be using the right "commandeer".
You have to select the right one.

The arrow that points down on the "build button" allows you to choose which commandeer to use.

No my cammanders are far apart. It just won't let me build. I now have recon researched and I have outposts which I can't build and t's turn 7. So I'm kinda freakin out.

maybe your security settings r 2 high for this site....
maybe change them or....

You have to allow popups at this site I think but if that's the problem I can't understand how you even got the screen to open to be honest.
What have you built? You said that you did build something.

Did the building popup came up with resources needed to build each building?
If yes,is the building you wanted to build cover with a dash red? If it is,it might be the building restriction(there are 6 of it which will be numbered according to the restriction).

Yes the building thing pops up. My security is fine. I've got plenty of ressources.

Are you trying to build on a road?

there wont be a building options if you select the road so there wont be building popup-bloody

why not try to give us a screenshot and we`ll try to figure out whats the problem-dreadme

Well I've narrowed the problem down to my computer. I tried on another computer and I was able to build a bunch of buildings. So Thanks for the help.
