how do you get crusaders never heard of them but i saw them on troop of the month???

This has a similar answer as before for the horse archer (i.e. I believe the swordsman is the equivalent of the crusader (i.e. crusader is an old name and the troop of the month actually is the swordsman but the swordsman doesn't look exactly like the old crusader did either)).

isn't it possible that they may be new kind of troops?

Because, i do remember Scouts being troop of the day, a few days ago... in reality just before horse archers, so... even though both horse archers and crusaders might have "existed" in the past.

Isn't it possible that a few new units, or old units with a new "life" in them are back in the picture?

Now that you mention it, I have also seen the swordsman listed as troop of the day. The crusader is definitely not available though and the specifications for damage most closely match the swordsman except that the health is more close to the maceman, but I have also seen macemen listed as troop of the day,

The troop type #1 may also be a clue but does that mean that it is a *rock type unit* (i.e. rock, paper, scissor)? I also don't really know if the specs shown have any bearing now to be honest but again the damage most closely matches the swordsman and the health most closely matches the macemen.

These "troops of the day" are starting to get confusing for me also.

I believe that Crusaders and Horsemen were possible types but were never used. I may be wrong about that...

Yes it is possible there may be a crusader in the new version because I believe there will even be a choice of government including possibly theocracy in the new version.

The "horse archer" and the "crusader" have no impact on the game as "troop of the day".
They are old units (i.e. not the scout or the swordsman) and apparently there is no "troop of the day" when they appear.
I just read it someplace.
