I am sure this has been discussed in the past, but here it is. Are there different types of battles available to players as their level increases? If so, what do we have to look forward to if we advance?

When you start at wol, you have a rank of 1:1. The first number is your campaign rank, the second number is your battle rank.
If you lose your first battle, which you should, you will go to 1:2 as a sign that you have experienced cold steel in your bowels.
When you get to 1:10, you can join in regular battles, where you pick your own troops.
When you get to 1:20, you can not ever go below 20, no matter how much you lose.
That's about it, there are really only two kinds of battles, AutoBattles and Battles.

20 is the limit. 40 is not.
