I'm sure that everyone here knows how to play the game "Mafia" (If not, go here: mafiascum.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl). So, let's have our own game of online WoL mafia! Post in this thread to sign up, and then I'll create a new thread in which the game will be played once we get a goodish amount of people (Maybe 20 or so).

This is how the game will work:

I will act as the administrator. Using a number generator, people will have randomly picked roles. I will then send a pm to each person explaining his/her role. In the thread, I will post every 48 hour period, signifying the change from day to night, or vise versa. At the start of each day, I will post who was killed, and what their role was. Then the voting will take place. A player will post, accusing someone of being in the mafia. If people want to vote to lynch him, the write down in your post: I vote for (insert name here). To unvote a person, edit your message, erasing the vote message, and simply writing "Unvote". If you vote for two people, your latest vote will be counted. Alternatively, you can vote "No lynch" if you don't want to vote for anyone. Once a majority of votes is for a certain player, then he/she is lynched by the crowd and killed. If no majority is reached by the end of the day, then nobody is lynched. All communication with other players about the game during the day needs to be done through the forums.

During the night, there is NO POSTING! The mafia will be able to pm each other and talk about who to kill. The mafia need to agree on a single target. Therefor, I will need to recieve a message from all mafia members still alive saying who they want to kill. If no decision is made, then nobody will be killed. Then police officer and doctor will also pm me on who they want to investigate/save. If I don't recieve a message, then again, nothing shall be done.

The object of the game is, of course, to either have more mafia members then townspeople, in which case the mafia win, or to kill all the mafia, in which case the townspeople win.

SOME OTHER RULES:
-Dead men tell no tales. If you've been killed, then shut up. No going on about how unfair it was that you were killed. The crowd/mafia doesn't care.
-No spam! You can post anything relating to the game, including revealing your/another person's roles. But nothing other than that!
-As previously stated, each day and each night will be 48 hours. This is for the benefit of people who might miss a day or two.
