You attack by selecting your troop and then clicking the pile when a swinging sword appears. If the swinging sword doesn't appear I think one of the conditions above has not been met.

| Posted : Saturday, 7 May 2005 - 23:32 To build you must select a commandeer unit that has enough BPs (i.e. again usually at least 40%). Most of us build a blacksmith shop within the castle but it can be built ALMOST anywhere by selecting a hex adjacent to the commandeer you have selected. When you select an adjacent hex a build button should appear on the right of the screen. Select that button and a build screen will be displayed and you should be able to determine how to build from there.
Some buildings like barracks require that you select a space farther away from the commandeer. If you don't have enough BPs you may have to wait a few hours to finish the building and sometimes it is smart to wait an hour to have enough before you start or you will have to wait longer.

| Posted : Tuesday, 10 May 2005 - 23:00 ok one more.... is there any advantage to placing units in towers?
and...do troop tech upgrades apply to troops already in the field, or just training units? | | TaurusRex Joined 14/06/2002 Posts : 3595
| Posted : Tuesday, 10 May 2005 - 23:32 Well at present we are not sure of all conditions associated with towers because they have recently been changed back to ownership mode and we don't know if all is normal with them, but basicly yes all units have always received a defensive bonus in towers and ranged units have always received a range bonus also of 3 in towers.
In general troop upgrades are intended for specific troops like "master melee" will for example allow "knights and heavy calvary". I think you mean technologies (i.e. not upgrades) like expert armor or expert weapons which DO give a bonus to all troops.
