I can't seem to enter slow 29. I figure it's due to this computer's setting but I don't know where to check. It probably isn't a Java problem because I haven't even got to the game screen yet, any thoughts?

the problem has now gotten larger, I can't open slow29 and I can't send messages to anyone, I can only reply to messages sent to me. Someone send a message to req telling him I'm having problems. I'd send a message myself but one problem is the message service. I'm very confused and I have no idea what to do! any suggestions?

well, I was able to log in yesterday but now the problem has occurred again! is the site having issues or am I the only one not able to even open slow29? Not only that but while I attempted to access slow29 a trojan was detected by my antivirus software. Something is very seriously wrong and worth some investigation. someone plz contact req, I'd love to stay and play but if this problem persists I'm going to have to go elsewhere and leave this site permanently, I hate to do that but this whole thing is driving me crazy, I probably already lost the game so even if this is fixed the damage has been done, we need to get this fixed before it starts happening to everyone.

Requiem has been told about these and other issues by many players and has not responded. It's a shame, but he is allowing this game to sink into a buggy mess and he could easily fix these problems, he has before. Perhaps a mass email campaign would wake him up?

no, MOG. I doubt if the e-mail campaign would work, if he can't fix probs here he probably isn't checking his e-mail regular either. The damage is done anyway! I have lost one castle and have only one army left in the game (in other words I'm toast because of this error) I'll just have to leave the site soon I'm afraid, maybe I'll show up from time to time . . .

Has your problem cleared up? We hate to lose people because of temporary problems like this. Try battling for some instant thrills...

first off, why did juxtaposer reply, LOL? anyway, my problem is still rampant, I'm not sure if it is just this game (slow29) or if I would have this problem elsewhere (due to time constraints I am only in a single game). I hate to leave due to this problem too, in fact I love games like this and I'd stick around longer if the trouble didn't just keep piling up (I'm not sure if I should call this "bad management" or chalk it up to something else . . .) I still was never able in slow29 to use my spy network (I had been using it and even paid for the upgrade but it doesn't matter now!) Maybe I'll stick around for the chit chat but it looks like gaming might be out for a while at least until I'm assured these big bugs have been fixed.

I agree with you CC...not only has the forums totally degraded, the game has as well.
I'm currently finishing my last campaign and have no intentions of starting any more. There's a number of bugs that make it impossible to play/use the characters as they're meant to be used, not to mention the constant changing back and forth of ranges, damage parameters and movements (catapults are an outstanding example of this...walls/towers, another).
It's impossible to even suppose that we can attract and hold new players with the current conditions.

thx for the like sentiment, sugarleo, we should both stick around to see if anything changes I think. also, don't sweat it juxtaposer, it was not even an annoyance, just a funny slip. anything interesting going on in any of the other boards (It seems I have some time on my hands to check them out as this will be I think the fourth day I haven't been able to move my one and only campaign is about to go inactive. (it's too bad too, I was ranked 1st and 2nd for the longest time and then all these bugs and other things began to plague me and I dropped to fourth, I'm probably 7th or so by now (but due to the familiar Mr. Bug I can't even know that)

It IS an open beta version of the game and will have changes and bugs. It sure is annoying though!

well, mog, an error here and there is completely understandable in a Beta Version release. However, the amount of errors that are occurring (and the lack of the developers attention) has made it appear that this game's release was premature. Don't get me wrong, I have always liked the game and found it very easy to grasp the general concepts (as all strategy gamers do) but at what cost? To spend hours working towards a goal (winning the game) only to have that taken away by an army of bugs without even the remote possibility of getting revenge in another map because of the fear I might lose that one too due to the same problems. It is hardly incintive to stay (but I'll stay and chat every once in a while and see if maybe our mutual friend, req, comes back "en mass" and actually makes the game playable again.
