I made an attack on a mine with units that were in defensive mode and the units went into normal mode after the attack. I did expect them to still be in defensive mode after the attack.

This is a serious bug folks (i.e. if defensive mode is lost with all types of attacks). I'm in the middle of a battle where I can't afford to risk losing defensive mode of any of my other units to be sure it's also lost when attacking units.

I cannot fight the battle I'm now fighting the way I would have liked to fight it. I can't take advantage to attack with a proper RPS unit without possibly losing defensive mode but my opponent can maneuver his units and always manage to attack with the right type unit.
I was dependent on defensive mode because he has many more basic troops than me.
It's like fighting with one hand behind my back.
