I will be so long dead by 2050 that it's really hard to care, but:
USA
China
Germany
Japan is very limited, it only has people power, no resources to speak of.
Russia will continue to be a great power and has a lot of resources, but doesn't know how to govern itself well.
Canada is the largest country, has resources but not much arable land.
And of course, Iraq is being rebuilt every single day (hah!), has oil to last until 2050 and will have a strong-arm Islamic government. After the USA leaves (in 2040) it will again dominate the mid-east, get nukes from Iran and be defendable against imperialist aggression.
Tibet will expel China and become a lucrative tourist trap, including Dalailand, McBuddhist restaurants and headquarters of Britney Spears World-Control.

We are only talking 45 years from now. Economically speaking huge amounts of wealth are not created or destroyed that quickly. You are just as likely to see the Kennedys and the Heinz-Kerrys working at McDonald's by 2050 as you are to see a major change in the world's economic situation.
Things that could change this: Nuclear War, widespread plague, global warming alarmists actually being correct and Russia becomes the greenbelt of the planet in 2020 while all the mideast oil fields spontaneously combust, the Rapture, a strike from a large comet...and possibly a couple of others.
