NH, you are probably in Beginner level campaigns, they end abruptly. Try getting in a regular game instead.

She may be lovable but she has been POTM enough for some time to come, how about some new blood?

People, do NOT vote for PoD. She knows we love her and she knows about the warm fuzzy feeling we get when voting for:
a. A woman
b. A princess
c. A catchy name like 'Princess of Darkness'
d. Someone in pink
e. as compensation or support due to the recent difficulties she endured.
f. In the vain hope we might get lucky with her

I am sure that PoD receives enough glory and love from people in WOL. She has been POTM more than anyone else here. BTW, Huitz, we have many times awarded POTM to the best players in WOL. Awarding someone yet another, third POTM in less than a year because we "luv" them is damn right silly.

By voting for Odenage, you vote for a good, a very good player. You vote for youth and a new generation of players. You vote for a friendly person who can become a pillar of this community. You vote to encourage and bolster this community's attitude towards new(er) players.

We often voted with our heart; we voted for PoD in the past because we love her, we voted to Mog because he's he furriest, we (You) voted for Rog because he's so damn sexy

But, this time we vote logically, with our minds, for the future of WOL.

Stringing a few campain wins together might have something to do with being a good player IMO

Winning a few battles might too, but that didn't answer my question, just how do you decide who is the BEST player? Let's just vote how we want, for whatever reason! Being furry is always a good bet, so vote for Yeti!! He's abominable.

I'm jumping on the Bogo bandwagon.

Don't get me wrong. I'm opposed to neither princesses or new players.

It's just that I think veterans who have (rather quietly) put together a long string of success should be rewarded once in a while too!

My ploy for PoD was a joke actually
But I do believe that a good player in campaign games should be recognised
Also I think that a poor battler (like me) that is good at campaigns(not like me) is only attributed to having time for long games and not much time for 2 hour battles!!!
New Players need to earn respect over time in both battles and campaigns before they will get my vote.
IMO Player of the Month is a pre-organised farce organised in these pages,dont you all think it should be every individuals choice without being influenced by the ALLMIGHTY voices of WOL.
Only small minds follow the voices of a few that agree and stick together like dog dung on new carpet.

Hard to tell if Huitz is officially paranoid or just really wants to be gang-banged in the metaphorical sense

Take it easy Huitzi we're debating the merits of voting and the ideologies behind the candidates. Of course every person here will vote according to their wish, but we're still allowed to express our opinion. Now...

So we managed to ascertain that your call to vote for PoD was a ploy and a joke. Shame really because these were good votes wasted. We're asking to vote for Odenage because he IS a good player and a young force we wish to salute. Those who vote for Bogo, also have a viable option because Bogo is one of the best ever. But for once, we need to encourage young people who ARE good to become even better. btw, Huitzi, maybe you should play a few games with Odenage and exchange some views. Who knows you might even become friends!

How dare me be so silly Rog to assume,that POTM should go to the best player of the month,in every other players own opinion.
Now Rog because my opinion differs from yours does that make you right,I think not!!!
I am also entitled to my opinion and my opinion is that this award MUST be earnd over a period of time to show a players HONOUR and SKILL.
Im not saying Odenage should not get POTM but in my opinion unless he has played several campaign games we do not know where his honour really is.1 versus 1 in battle matches does not show a players honour but campaign games do.Odenage at this stage has not completed a campaign and this is a MUST for my vote.
Also my "PLOY and JOKE" with PoD shows how one persons words can infuence others into making wastefull votes and im not the only person guilty of that IMO!!!

huitzilopochtli I agree that each player should make their own choice. Although I also agree that there is no problem expressing ones opinion. I posted that I thought Bogo should get it because I just finished a game where he spanked 4 high level players and came in first. I look and see he is ranked 2nd and close to first in 2 other games.
