but is that a good thing? it lists to direct pages that you cant go to anyway cuz the site uses frames.

people wont search waronline if they dont know what it is.

Ok... there was a little downtime in the past 12hrs...

basically, we've upgraded the database (SQL-Server 2000) server. its a much more powerful machine now.

next up will be the webserver, afterwhich everything should be much much faster.

i'll keep you posted.

true, it has been very reliable for a free game.

More than that, it's been reliable PERIOD/FULL STOP (a p.c. figure of speech )

No, unless server quality takes a SERIOUS dive (and I do mean serious, as in not being able to complete a server tick inside an hour or constant crashes ) it'll always be good enough for me, and I suspect everyone else who's been in text games too (maybe Mal could tell us about the state of the TEQ server... - could be the exception )
