they should all have advantages and disadvantages to balance each other. If demons were to go in as they were, I'm sure Req would at least make them produce much less per turn and cost much more to balance.

i think the production of demons is fine, its just a matter of cost i think req will balance it there and ive noticed that all medevil characters have special abilities and demons dont

except for flight for flying troops... Req has to figure out what abilites he wants to give the demonic characters before he starts on that.

flight doesnt coudnt for that it is the demonic response to ranged

yea they are seige cuz they dont do much damagae against troops, even with that one troop able to do range damage it be a waste to use them against troops, i see them sitting back and trowing rocks at a castle while some flyers engage the troops inside and when the boulders destroy the draw bridges or a pice of wall u bring in all the non flyers

but using boulders against troosp would be liek using ur catapults aghainst ur opponent, u just dont do it unless ur desperate

hey you should try to use them against troops... boulder demons do enough damage to use them also as ranged troops.

It's true. I saw someone pelting my Heavy Cavs with Boulder Demons, and it was almost like being attacked by Marksmen...

I don't remember too well, but I'm pretty sure catapults are terrible as a ranged unit. I remember a good year ago, I introduced someone to this game, and picked a bunch of cats in the battle game just to fool around so he'd get an easy first win, and they were easily slaughtered. Boulder Demons, however, seem to do pretty well as a ranged troop. but I think what it is about the cats is that they have bad att/def, but they can do good damage on buildings.

Catapults helth=60 dmg=50-60 att=14 def =10 range=7

thast pretty good stats, i mean 30 of them do 1500-2400
and they have 50% ranged protection, so there must be something not in the online maual where these stats onyl apply when attacking buildings, and when attacking troops they stink

I believe that dmg means damage to buildings, and att means damage to troops. Catapults have high damage, but much lower attack. This is why they don't do as well in combat.

No, dmg is the amount of dmg a troop does and attack and deffence are whats used to calculate the amount of the max dmg done, along with position bp and other fwactors

catapults are a special ase cuz theyr seige, i think them and rams do only % dmg to troops and full dmg to buildings, i just dont know what the % is lol

ok, and at this point it would seem that boulder demons do full to both troops and buildings
