OK...checked it out and my understanding is that the 'two' rules are: No armies over 999 pop, and no moving troops inside an unfinished building (walls/pallisades). When's the final draw, the 31st?

As a result of the difficulty of policing bug exploitation, it has been agreed that the use of some of the known glitches in the game will be allowed.

Here is a list of some of the known glitches that will be allowed:

1. Attacking walls / buildings or resource piles from more than 1 hex.
2. All barbarians / bandits / Renegades must be killed before taking over resources building.
3. Outpost upgrading??? (Too hard to police, consider it a tech) Everyone be aware that upgrading one outpost will give the extra 4 hexes to all outposts.

Other glitches will not be allowed during this Tournament.

1. Building units with a pop of greater than 999.
2. Moving units into unfinished buildings.

All clan members need to read this list because "not knowing a bug" will not be a defense.

A senior neutral player will be assigned to every game for adjudicating any problems that may arise.

Penalty for bug use will be disqualification from Tourny.

I don't think this should be allowed. I won't do it, and I would hate to be forced to play like that because everybody else in the Tourny would do it.

I agree Boe, but if it can't be policed how do we enforce it? I wont attack walls, etc from more than 1 hex either. So its up to the individual to decide whether they will use it or not.

I'll edit the the rules to say that it will be frowned upon but it will not cause disqualification. What do you think?

Well I'm not going to do it either. If there are those who think so little of their own abilities that they feel they need to exploit bugs to win, I guess that's the way they have to play.

Question: What are we going to do with the new bug caused by the queue system? The one that lets you gain more troops if you don't change your barracks to produce something else. (Check out the Bug Forum if you're unaware).


Frankly I hate this bug, and wish it would be fixed. But I don't know how easy it would be to catch someone at it...

if it cant be regulated it has to be allowed. thats the rules.

the truth is it is even more of a taactical decision, cause if you add a new barraks or upgrade your troops you loose it. SO you can stay basic and all, but then you get to fight balli, marks, mace and such.

But its still too much of an advantage to stay with basic troops and research expert training. If it is allowed everyone will be using it. Maybe all clan games should be postponed until this bug is fixed!?!

Well, at the normal rate of Req's bug fixing that would pretty well postpone the tournament indefinately.... so if everyone spams Req with PM's asking for a fix... . Course he might not appreciate that .

Anyone got any clout with Req to draw his attention to it?

Well, maybe I'm crazy, but it seems like this would be a bug we could prove if someone's using it.

I mean, personally when I'm fighting someone I can tell whether they are producing two barracks worth of troops or eight... It's not like it's a marginal difference.

Personally, I can agree to play without it (and stick to that), it's just a matter of trusting other people and worrying about conflict over it.

The best case scenerio would be of course to get it fixed... but not sure how much time Req's got lately to fix things like this...
