Do we have to build the 3rd barracks? Will the resources needed, be 'charged' to our current inventories of wood/stone ect? I've got the extra barracks in my current game - I just switched them on from the military training menu (they were already in existence) It's worth a try - should make for some large battles as long as it doesn't prove too much of an advantage for those who pick up and early castle for free. My initial thoughts are that it should only work after turn 50 in games. i like this idea alot. It makes sense to me that the more castles you get the more you should get to train troops. Good idea Req! I like the basic idea. This change would shorten games, which is not a bad idea at times. However, if it is possiable, the extra barricks should be allowed only if the castle is actually taken from an active player. To the strong come the rewards. If a player quits, it would be unfair for someone to to just walk in and gain the extra active barricks. If this would make it too complicated to track in the programming then I am for the extra active barricks. Hagar, this is why I suggest it only happening after turn 50 - even if you grabbed an extra castle early, things tend to have balanced out by this point. Making it only work for castles which have actually been taken would work too though. Well doesn't seem to be in 'every' game...I've got one game that the 3rd barracks doesn't show on training page. Tell us the name of the game so Req can look into it. i am in two games where the military training page says i should have ...um... 'more than 3' barracks active (secret! ) - but niether game is allowing more than three to actually turn on... slow31 and slow32 We should move this discussion out of the Notice Board and into General. Fringe, (and everyone else), you MUST update your Military Training list to get the extra Barracks working. thankx req that is cool now i can have lots of barracks 1 every castle after the first 3 on 1 castle thanks you much... (i had done that, and it had failed, but the next day it worked... i assumed you had fixed it by hand) yeah fella's, go to military training page, then hit the update button at bottom of page and check it out. i like it, i like it. he he he |
