We're down to the business end of the comp and theres alot of interest in the 3rd round loser bracket to boot.

So here it is.....

Semi Final
BoS v IJA Clan game 21 (820)
AAA v FSA Clan game 22 (821)

3rd Round
BoP v WAR Clan game 23 (822)
Crusaders v MoB Clan game 14 (813)
Circus v AYA Clan game 24 (823)
CoC v AGD Clan game 27 (826)

Hopefully everyone knows how to get into clan games now but just as a reminder please read Fanatic's post on it.

Please remember the rules of the Tournament..... only bugs that are policeable are taboo.... i.e. no 1000 pop units and placing units in unfinished buildings.

I been pretty busy lately, so if one member of a clan will message me when the games get rolling, I'll update the charts then, otherwise it might be a little till I notice a game is rolling.

Please be advised that due to players busy life schedules (surprise, surprise, some of them do have a life! ) the IJA Vs BoS Semi-Final will be postponed until the first week of May.

Dang! I can expect Overlord will use this opportunity to make us go through some endless parade drills until then...

no not the final four or am i mistaken wont the winner of the looser brackets get there shot at the loosers of the winner braket and then that winner gets a shot at the next looser then the winner of that get a shot at the main winnner and have to beat them 2 times?

Yep, that's how double elim should work. I guess it might be more correct to say it's the final four of the winner's bracket...

well if someone who won all their maches lost against someone who lost one would that be fair?

maybe the people who lost one match should have to beat the undefeated twice.

The one that won all matches is the winner! He's only battling the battle against the one who lost one battle as a honor thing... IMO that is...

Ultima Bahamut, that's exactly how double elim works!

You need two losses to be out of the tourney, so in order for the winner of the loser bracket to win, they would have to beat the undefeated clan twice.

[EDIT: To reply to Mychl... Not at all. This tourney was set up to be a double elim and agreed to be as much when it started. So it's NOT up to the winner to decide. It's part of the tourney and the rules that were agreed to coming into it...]

Actually card the tourney was set up originally as a single eliminatation and was mostly done with round 1 before players clamored for it to be double elimination.

It's a moot point in any case since it will be FSA vs BOS for the finals anyway . And even under single elimination it would have been cool to have the final be a best 2 out of 3.

This is getting way too confusing. If it is double elim., defeating the undefeated twice makes sence, although highly unlikely. As far as predicting the final 2 goes, I am reserving my prediction until later. There are still a bunch of good clans in the tourney so it is too soon to make any predictions, although I think the BoS will take the whole thing..

@Card; you say "You need two losses to be out of the tourney..." if if the overall winner beat the winner from the looser bracket he's out right?

Fanatic stop acting like you know whose going to win and whos going to lose, the AAA is going to clover FSA.

You guys won last game by luck.I know it.
