just wondering how to report abusive players since I have one who calls me names every time we communicate. Nothing bad, just "moron" or "your an idiot" or "hey stupid"

the only real way is the forum or u mesage req, but make sure he not jokin around first crispin or atleast tell him that u dont like it.

This is probably the worst language-wise post, I have ever seen in WOL. PLEASE, do NOT use it again, especially if it is an excuse for weak spelling. Let MS-Word correct it for you. I would also refer you to the Orthography thread in the General Chit-Chat forums.

Well, in this thing I agree with Rog for quite a bit.

It does take more trouble figuring out what you are saying then if you would have typed it in, for instance, English. Seriously "have u very type short hand." sounds more or less like a question, even though it sure lacks a question mark and sense. And what's the problem with just writing you, and instead of u and n, because the former are a load easier to read and it only takes milliseconds more to write.
Also a bit more work spent on build-up of your post and making your sentences actually mean something without a decoder doesn't sound too much asked to me.

Especially since you seem to live in the US which probably means English is your native languege. There are people with a much smaller English knowledge who manage to make a better understandable sentence.
Hell, even in French I might be able to make a more coherent story than you just did in English. And I don't even speak French!

as for this spelling matter people and this sooo called short hand some people use to each is own. we however must keep in mind all of our other players are from OTHER COUNTRIES therefor do not read nor speak or spell things the same way as we americans do and it makes it harder for them to read our post when using this so called short hand. Kingmen dear i have to admit its even hard for me to read your post. sorry sweetie just never seen short hand like yours before. is it so hard to really type what we mean here? or are we all just getting that LAZY? if its a matter of laziness then wait till your up to it to post. give it the time it deserves. cause everyones opion matters reguardless of what one person thinks and we should take the few minutes to put our full opions down

i never said i was a good typer. i do miss type the wrong key once "in" awhile or miss spell some words. i been playing this game sense '01, "and" "noone" has every said that they could not ever read or don't understand what i was talking about. i will still continue "to" type the way i do. it's works "for" me. I understand also now what he means. He is referring to the "forum form of shorthand" and now I know where to find the ones I don't know.
In all honesty I did trip over some misspelled words but basicly I understood all that he had to say.

Seriously folks.
I think we should try to stop humiliating each other (i.e. no one likes to be on the "brunt of an offensive remark or even an offensive joke".
If it's not something that will cause us all to laugh may be it shouldn't be said.
Especially young people I think don't know how to handle being ridiculed and humiliated and a wrong word IMO can send them packing elsewhere.

Frankly, this still doesn't make sense and isn't coherent. I don't mind an abbreviation once in a while, but the least thing you could do is make your senses make sense.
