August 2003 - Updates -5.Aug.2003
Fixes :

- Updated "Games Window" to use frames and better handle Javascript.
- Also removed the auto-refresh from GamesWindow when in Battles, so you wont lose where you are when it becomes your turn.
- Fixed MarketPlace javascript error that a few players recieved, so trading now works.

Updates :

- Added a timer for Battles so you can see how long since the last person clicked End Turn.
- Added "Force Turn" button for Battles, so if a player goes over 10 minutes, other players can Force the turn to move forward.
- If any player missed 3 Battle turns (due to Force Turn), they are eliminated from the game.
- Changed games so they DO NOT count to ranking if there are 0 total game casualties regardless of game length.

April 2003 - Updates -8.Apr.2003
Map Version 2.38 Released!

- Uses new HEX based objects.
- New mouse pointer has 3 hex grid options.
- Ranged radius now shown in hex.
- Updated Scoreboard - Champions list.

Additions :

- Lowered DAMAGE for all Ranged troops by about 30-40%.
- Lowered DAMAGE for all Flying troops by about 25%.
- Battle Games now ranked similar to Chess ranking system.
- ALL games must have run 5 turns or more to be counted.

Fixes :

- Taking over buildings in Battle games now gives no EXP.

March 2003 - Updates -28.Feb.2003
Additions :

- Statistics page now has Country links to see players from same country.
- Added Last 10 winners list for the Player Of The Month.
- Added rotating Waronline promoter to left menu.
- Added AVG EXP value to Spy Report to show enemy army quality.
- Changed INACTIVE timeout for games to only 5 turns instead of 12.
- Monsters now grow slower than before.
- Buildings in "Disappearing" mode are reset back to 5 turn countdown when they are under attack or being taken over.
- At TURN 5, in any Campaign game, all un-owned Castles & Barracks will be DELETED from the map.
- When games begin (TURN-1) a system message will be sent to all players notifying them of the games comencement.
- Games are now closed after TURN 5. You cannot join after then.
- Campaign Games list only shows 1 game of each speed/type/level, even if there are more than 1 available (similar to coming Queue mode)
- Attacks and Defends(retaliations) now use a MINIMUM of 10% instead of 40%. Both still need 40% to be able to attack/defend.
- Switched to Blocking ZOC. Cannot move from one ZOC square to another ZOC square. no other movement penalty.
- Updated Games page to show the speeds of Campaigns vs Battle games.
- Updated Terms&Conditions page (at bottom) to outline what to do incase of abuse.
- Added DELETE option for forums so that I can delete SPAM posts, and keep track of who spammed.
- Added Sent messages to message list.
- Cannot take over ANY building if there is an enemy army nearby (within 3 sqrs).
- Any army can now take over "un-owned" buildings, but they are 2.5x slower than Comms, and cannot Repair either.
- BATTLE GAMES are now being Ranked (as a test).
- Battle games are sorted by winner, eliminated, quit/inactive, and then by how many turns the player survived.
- Added Scoreboards top100s. Click on a title link from the scoreboards page.
- Smaller attacks (less than full attacks), now only removes that % in MovementPoints as well. eg 20%BP attack takes off 20% movement only.

Fixes :

- Fixed MyGames page so Population only shows deployed troops.
- Fixed Castle Disappearing bug. Castles should now switch to the "Disappearing" mode for 5 turns after any Quit or Inactive.
- Fixed movement bug that counted undeployed troops in ZOC.
- Fixed some armies giving errors when viewed on some maps (should also fix attacking same army bug)
- Fixed inactive days details on Games Details pages.
- Fixed quiting on Day0, so it doesnt count towards your total quit count.

February 2003 - Updates -5.Feb.2003
Map v2.36 released.

Additions :
- Campaign games now start with 2 Commandeer armies by default, PLUS the 4 armies you select.
- Gold/Silver Members can now play MORE than 3 games at once (Silver-4, Gold-6).
- Added Ultra games which are 2hr/turn games.
- Added more other games to allow for more players.
- Disband-ing an army now adds to your TroopsLost EXPLost scores based on the army size/exp (with +100 EXP).
- Updated DOWNLOADS page to include ver.110 of the MapEditor. 112 coming soon.
- Added link to Map12.swf to Downloads page for those using Local Downloads.
- Changed some games to use a 40-player map.
- Renamed Swordsmen to Militia inline with coming upgrades.
- Removed auto-movement checking completely from Attack code.
- Campaign & Battle game count seperated. You can now play 3 Campaigns & 2 Battle games.
- Added emoticon images to forums.
- Added Trivia bot to IRC channel.

Fixes :
- Prevented WWW in URL, fixing cookie problems for those using www.waronline.net
- Fixed forum posts so that General Chat posts count as well.
- Fixed player "elimination". No troops or buildings means immediate "elimination".
- Fixed Map bug so map sizes above 128x128 could be used.
- Fixed Map bug so Refresh button updates the Turn number.
- Fixed join bug for 40 player games.
- Fixed large maps so doesnt freeze at Generating stage.
- Fixed Search Forums bug for large result sets.

January 2003 - Updates -29.Jan.2003
Additions :
- Changed QUIT/INACTIVE penalty. Rankings are sorted such that quiters (or inactives), are placed at the bottom of the ranks.
- Improved performace on some common pages which should improve overall performance.
- Added a SiteMap page showing links to all major pages.
- Updated Clan pages so clans list can be sorted by player ranks, and details page has player links.
- Change games list pages so they show ONLY available games by default.
- Added TurnNo to the current games Rankings page.
- Added new AUTO Battle Mode games. Both players get 1 or 2 armies of each troop to Battle with.
- Added new VoteToEndGame option. Under the Quit-Game page, last 4 players can vote to end the game early.
- Updated Monster troops (barabarians,etc) to be weaker (like lvl-1 troops), and give similar EXP.

Fixes :
- Fixed marketplace bug. Should also be fixed for future games too.
- Fixed the Forums Messages page. Loads much faster now.
- Fixed scoreboards ranking problem. Quit/Inactive players now ranked last.
- Fixed Macemen bug. Now have infinite retaliations in Battles too.
- Fixed range bug for defending armies so range bonus from towers, etc now work when attacked.
