What's the latest on the tech tree situation? Complete? Ready to go to Req?

It's mostly complete... I'm not exactly thrilled with the double arrow bits, but I can't think of a better way to do it.

Also, there's some information in it that I think would be useful, but I haven't added it yet. For instance, building military academies lets you build 5 more armies. That sort of thing.

I'll email Req and ask him to take a look at it. I'm sure we can do updates "on the fly" later.

Great job, logickal! I think there is something confusing. Archery shows up in two places, and the second one seems to suggest that a training guild is required for this tech, and that is not the case (the first instance of Archery got this right: only blacksmith and military academy are required). I think you could just move the information hanging from the second instance to the first one.

I see what you mean about it looks like it requires a Training Guild. It's actually the techs above archery require the training guild, and they also require archery.

I don't see a way to make that part much clearer. I could move that entire part of the tree (that requires Archery) to the top, but then it would make it look like archery is required for the training guild.

I'll take a look at it some more this afternoon and see if I can think of a way to present it a bit clearer.

I also need to remove Stone Shielding as, from what I can see, it's not actually in the game. Maybe it's a relic?

Pretty big update on my side, although it looks relatively small...

-Changed Swordsmen to Militia.
-Removed Stone Shielding.
-Added a new drop down that lists each item. Change it and see what happens.

As always: logickal.net/wol

Let me know what you think! Good, bad, whatever.

I had no idea this game was this deep...

This thing is a newbie's dream, logickal. Just glancing at it gives me new strategy ideas. Keep up the good work.

And big props to Req as well... this game seriously owns.

Moo.
