Well, it seems to me there are only people in favor of this DE proposal. So why not go forward with it. So we have 8 loosers now and 8 winners, who each have a battle to come/chedule. There is only one problem, of the 8 loosers there are a few clans that lost because they couldn't get a team together or didn't join fast enough. What to do with these? Let them in or give "buys" to clans that missed out on the first 8 battles?
Furthermore after playing 2nd round (4 winner(W) and 4 looser(L)) battles, we end up with 4 winner (W) and 4 looser (W) clans, and 4 winner (L) and 4 looser (L) clans. My suggestion is that the double winners go through normal tournament, the loosers (W) join looser pool (L) and fight the winners (L) from that pool. Double loosers are out!
4 times 2 W --> 4 WW + 4 WL
4 times 2 L --> 4 LW + 4 LL (are out)
4 WW goes on into 2 times 2 WW --> 2 WWW + 2 WWL
4 times WL vs LW --> 2 WLW/LWW + WLL/LWL (are out)
1 final WWW vs WWW overall champion
2 times WWL vs WLW/LWW --> 2 WWLW/WLWW/LWWW + WWLL/WLWL/LWWL (are out)
1 extra D.E. championship WWWW vs WWLW/WLWW/LWWW

I dont quite get this idea???? My thoughts were for some way to all clans in this tournament from 1 to 16..... like obviously the last 2 clans will be 1 and 2, also all losers in the first round can only rise as high as 9th position.
Is there someway to do this that isnt too complicated?

I'm for the double elimination idea -- whoever wins 1st place will definitely deserve to be up there. I don't think the losers in the first round will end up getting higher than the 9th rank though, in the current system... the winners of the 1st round in the second bracket would have to face the losers of the 2nd round in the first bracket.
