Well it was my understanding that you could not play for 2 different teams in the tourney. I guess if your not in a clan when it started you could join any clan and play. Or if you have not played in a clan tourney game.

i think the best idea would be to let the two leaders work it out.

BA - I believe Tyler Salyers played for THREE teams in this tourney which was not right (though he lost in all of them). I agree with PoD and Harley's position on the topic. Remember it is easier to agree with the ladies than disagree!

Viva - That would be best for them to do, though there are more than just the 2 clans interested here and it does not appear to be close to a resolution before the next version of WoL comes here.

Regardless of how this particular issue gets resolved between IJA/AAA I propose that the 3 games to come afterword (FSA/??? and then BOS/??? and possibly another BOS/???) that a more strict schedule. Something like the next game must start within 2-3 weeks of the previous one finishing. If you can't field the players then forfeit.

We are ready for the game vs IJA. Which is the deadline for the forfeit ?

Well, I would go for a more reasonable break, such as up to 2-3 months max. Remember there are vacations and families to consider. I think the AAA/IJA game is goine in 4-5 months though. Let's say AAA wins all their games. That would be quite a task to be online for that period of time over 3 games with a 2 week max break.

ethedog
Funker
kingrichard

zorg

Have all been active in the last 24 hours. They also operate a second - illegal clan that has active members in it too. I think the issue here is they cant start who they WANT to start. IF they have time to play in a regular campaign they can play in the clan game.

We played our game vs BOS without Raptor because he could not play at that time. That could have made a major difference in the outcome.

I think if you have 5 players that are active in WOL then you can field a team. May I suggest, that if we do this again we have some sort of a time setting, like Rap does when he runs a battle tourney.

I agree with BA. If 5 IJA members are playing regular campaign games they should field a team immediately. Let AAA who are ready set up a time limit and have IJA forfeit if they can't be there on time.

May 1 still gives them 3 weeks. Will that work as a deadline?

as i mentioned before, you donīt have to set the date.

most of IJA-players are playing slow games or no games. zorg is in no game, kingrichard too. kingrichard is working to get a team together. and heīll manage that.

I guess what has me pissed about this tourney is that FSA played our last clan tourney game in January, before that it was June. Current rate says we play our next (winner IJA,AAA) in June. I really dont think it should take a year to play 3 tourney games.

This thing started in January of 2004, it should have ended by October 2004.

It's a good thing we dont have a growing community, We would have more clans that could not get in a tourney.

I'll bet this thinbg wont get setteled till fall. Two years is too long.

I agree, if there's 5 active players as noted in the game with IJA membership, then let's get it started now....makes no sense to wait until May. I suggest that we get the match started within 72 hours.

none of them reads the forum anymore as far as i know, or just once a week. they said to me to do the same, but on the other hand if i wouldnīt read, IJA would have to face a forfeit already, spoken out by ppl not even involved in the game. i think thatīs one reason why IJA avoids the forum. that was not angry spoken, it was just a fact.

Viva, how often you read the forums and if at all, is entirely up to you and your own private business. 'Other' people got involved in this matter because this game which concerns all the WOL community and not just AAA, is holding the clan tournament back.

No one wants IJA out and personally I would love to see this game develop. The other issues of not reading the forums, or holding two clans or playing regular campaigns yet being unable to field a clan game are not related per se. But, in the overall context of things this game should be launched soon so we may all proceed with the championship.

Please.

I agree with ROG, I would much rather see AAA and IJA play than to see a forfiet so late in this tourney. Since you are available, why not join them - Viva?

I am very busy atm and i canīt look at the forums that much.

It is game between AAA and IJA and no one else.
I can understand that other clans want to c this game going on but..well..some people have a real life and are not able to look into their games twice or three times a turn.
A 24-hour game would be the best but we have to get along with this game.

I will need some days to get 5 ACTIVE players for our team - 72 hours arenīt enough.

regards kingrichard
